Wow he has a lot of highlight videos. I don't know much about him aside from watching the videos, but he played CB/S evenly in the videos, and his fundamentals are very good. He lines the ball carrier up, wraps up, and drives his feet. Also he plays the ball in air the right way, always getting his hand in between the ball. He also has a very good sense of down and distance

Seems like a perfect fit

This is a very solid signing. He's be quietly one of the most consistent safeties in football.

Definitely a sigh of relief with this signing. I was figuring the Bills would try to patchwork the secondary and hope for the best. Pleasantly surprised they went out and got a decent player.

I think it better than decent. He basically comes in like Graham did a few years ago, except he hasn't fallen off yet.

I think the common theme for the players we will sign will be players who play the game sound. I don't think we will see anymore flashy big hitting players like what Rex likes. These will be hard working players who do the right things

He's versatile as hell, solid player, has covered slot threats. Good signing considering we have no depth at S.

I was thinking of a different player totally my bad. I thought he was the other guy Poyer we signed.

Hyde fits that bill, with all the injuries in Green Bay he played everywhere, this is a guy who understands the game.

Is he really that good?

Or just a decent starter that people are getting overly hyped for?

Gilmore will make 2 to 3 times more. Is he that much better ? Nope

He will play safety I'm guessing and zone CB's are a dime a dozen in the McDermott D.

You really have to question someone who would call himself SaviorPegula after Pegula has ruined both Buffalo Pro sports teams.

Well, my immediate boss at work is a hard-core Packers fan. I can certainly ask him; you'll have to wait a few days for his take, however.

A backup that started due to injury and played really well. He would be the 3rd best CB in GB and not as good as Ha Ha at FS. Can play nickel and FS and was the captain of their Special Teams. Seems like good value, worth more to us than Green Bay, they're sad to see him go but wouldn't have paid that much for a backup.

For what it's worth, local Packer fans here in Wisconsin are pissed for letting Hyde walk.

He was always making plays for that team.

Micah Hyed has only missed 1 game in 4 years.

Hyde makes about 57 tackles per season on average.

The Bills can use him at corner or safety.

Stephon Gilmore made 45 tackles per season on average.

He has missed 13 games in 5 years.

The only question is, will he play cornerback or safety?

He tackles receivers/tight ends that are bigger than he is with ease.

Micah Hyde also shows excellent hand/eye skill coordination, unlike most cornerbacks in the NFL with stone hands.

I think the Bills will use him primarily as a cornerback, not as a safety.

Hyde replace Gilmore.

Hyde looks like the best tackling DB the Bills have had since Antoine Winfield.

I hope the Bills draft Hooker, Adams, or Peppers at 10 to make for an elite secondary no team will be able to pass against.
