Looked promising before a cheap shot caused him to miss most of season. Solid depth signing. http://m.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-agree-to-terms-with-five-including-S-Hyde-and-K-Hauschka/d8d35fb4-046c-47e6-a289-2a7dff43e38e

Nothing wrong with this. Inexpensive and can help.

Good. We need safeties badly.

Could be one of those signings you don't think much about now, but looks good in October.

Earned a starting job before his injury last season.

I think Poyer will be Corey Graham's replacement.

Corey Graham has a $5.375 cap hit this year.

$1.6 million in dead cap if the Bills cut him.

You can see him play in this game and he makes play.

A body to the mix.

He was a starter for the Browns.

THE BROWNS.

That's not the kind of benchmark I use to assess talent.

It's good to have another body in the mix for cheap but expecting this guy to do anything worthwhile is wishful thinking.

I personally hope we find someone better to start for us. This guy is a backup.

I'm not sure if he can cover, but he looks really good in run support. He'll be the starter.

Our secondary will be Darby, draft pick, Hyde and Poyer. I'm fine with that, the front 7 is good enough to be a top 10 D, as long as the coach isn't an idiot.

I've seen what a safety who's good in run support but bad in coverage looks like. Jonathan Cyprien. Donte Whitner. Etc Etc. I have no faith in Poyer as a starter.

Hyde, fine. Darby, fine. To a lesser extent, I see promise in Kevon Seymour (oh btw rated the 'handsomest' Bill) if he starts opposite Darby.

Poyer does nothing for me. I'd sooner make a run at Lardarius Webb.
