Still got CB Butler for cheap too.

Belichick is an impassive artist.

Jeezums Christmas...this slobbering over New England every time they make a move is ridiculous.

Saints ship Brandin Cooks to Patriots (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/10/saints-ship-brandin-cooks-to-patriots/)

Remember how prolific Brady's long passing game was when he had real outside WRs like Randy Moss instead of a couple of mini-mights?

Here we go again.

Well it is the last pick in the 1st round. Think of it this way, there are probably 3-4 WR that will get drafted higher than that this year, and there is no guarantee they are going to be as good as Cooks. Plus, he only cost $1.5M this year and they hold an option for about $8.5M for next year.

Cooks is only 23 years old, and is coming of 2 straight seasons where he caught 75 passes for 1,000+ yards and 8 TDs each year. The only other WR to hit those marks in the last 2 seasons are Odell Beckham and Antonio Brown. He has averaged 14.9 YPR over those 2 years. He is a very good player.

They basically rented Cooks for one year .........no way Belichick pays him $12-$14 million per season.

They are going to win another SB...

I could see it, especially if they see him as the replacement for Edelman. Edelman is a FA next year and will be 31.

Phew, thank goodness the Pats picked up Cooks.

I was suuuuper worried they were only going to win only 2 more superbowls instead of like 5 straight.

The rich get richer...
