Good for him.

His tenacity paid off, and he's a good guy to root for.

I could care if he's 42.

Hustle and production never lies.

Can we fit Rags, Preston, and Zo on the 4-3 LBs?

Actually wouldn't he fill the position that Shaq Thompson played for Carolina?

He'll be the 3rd DE, behind Hughes and Lawson.

That's the way I see it also.

in a Cover 2?

I think he'll line up at OLB and DE when we kick Lawson inside on 3rd & long.

I think he sees more plays than Lawson.

Nice to see Lorenzo back, but I don't think he'll be a LB in this D. I agree that he'll rotate at DE. He should continue to be a good ST player too.

Very good and two years is probably about what he has left in the tank.

Interesting...

Alexander will see his role change from a 3-4 outside linebacker, where he was typically used as a pass rusher, to an off the ball role as a ‘SAM’ linebacker.

When speaking to members of the media, Alexander explained that he saw himself fitting into the role that star veteran linebacker Thomas Davis played with the Panthers.

“At this point in my career I definitely want to be settled in one spot and Buffalo being the great football city that it is, obviously the fan base and the whole community embraced me last year, I definitely wanted to come back here, said Alexander. “I really appreciated the Pegulas, Doug Whaley and Sean McDermott expressing their feelings about me as a player on and off the field. Anytime you have a relationship that you do like that, you definitely want to come back and finish it off.

“From my understanding, I’m 34 and it’s definitely a blessing to be able to continue to play at this age, still be in the NFL, and I’m just excited to get back with my teammates. I was actually joking with Kyle Williams that, technically, he’s still the oldest player until I sign the deal. But just being around guys like that and having a good time as I finish out, I’m looking forward to it and hopefully we can bring the city a playoff team and hopefully be able to play for a championship.”
