All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
Standout cornerback Sidney Jones suffered an apparent lower leg injury at Washington's pro day on Saturday, according to reports. The Seattle Times reported Jones suffered a torn Achilles tendon. Jones is ranked as NFL Network draft guru Mike Mayock's No. 1 cornerback in the 2017 NFL Draft. Jones ran a 4.47 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. In nearly every NFL.com mock draft, Jones comes off the board in the first 15 picks. This is a potentially devastating blow to Jones. This tweet was posted to his account late Saturday.
I was really thinking on putting him in my Mock draft. I really feel bad for the dude.
2018 Mock:
1a Mason Rudolph QB
1b Vander Esch LB
2a James Washington WR
2b James Daniels C
3a Harrison Phillips DT
3b Geron Christian OT
Re: Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
He seemed to be consistently ranked as one of the top 2 or 3 CBs in the draft. Some people had him as the #1 CB, ahead of Lattimore. Sucks for him. It will be interesting to see how far he falls. I wouldn't mind the Bills using a 2nd or 3rd on him even though he'll likely miss the season.
Re: Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
Someone will pull the trigger on this kid in the 2nd or 3rd round.
If you can get a potential lock down CB without using a first round pick with the only downside being you have to wait one year for him to see the field... that's not so bad.
We're so thin at CB it probably doesn't make sense for us to draft him. But if there's a team that has a CB with a contract expiring next year and can afford to let him heal, they'll do it.

Re: Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
I am going to vehemently stand by this, but those stupid drills they put these players through to measure their physical strengths do nothing more than cause excessive wear and tear on their joints. It may be why we see so many injuries these days.
Lou Saban: You can get it done, you can get it done. And what’s more, you’ve gotta get it done.
Re: Washington CB Sidney Jones reportedly suffers torn Achilles
A ruptured Achilles might be the worst single injury a player could have. You've got to figure he loses the entire 2017 season, and may never have the speed and athleticism post injury that he had before.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
