Tues night here he spears ROR in the balls and last night he takes off the finger of Ottawa Senators Methot,

Sidney Crosby will not be subjected to any discipline for a slash that ripped off the fingertip of Marc Methot, per NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly (http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/18989779/ottawa-senators-marc-methot-suffers-bloodied-mangled-finger), who told ESPN the league is not investigating the matter.<strike></strike>

The incident occurred during the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators Thursday night. Methot missed the final 45 minutes of the game after coming off the ice cradling his ghastly, mangled finger, the result of a two-handed slash from Crosby, who was not penalized on the play.

Senators owner Eugene Melnyk unloaded on Crosby Friday morning, calling for the NHL to suspend the Penguins superstar, which of course now will not happen.

“We all know who he is. The guy is just a whiner beyond belief,” Melnyk said on TSN 1200 radio (http://www.tsn.ca/radio/ottawa-1200/melnyk-crosby-is-a-whiner-beyond-belief-1.705240) in Ottawa while not mentioning Crosby by name. “You do this kind of stuff, I don’t care who you are in the league, I don’t care if you’re the No. 1 player in the league, you need to sit out a long time for this kind of (action).”

Senators head coach Guy Boucher said Methot’s finger is “destroyed,” “shattered” and that the defenseman will be “out for weeks.”

But in this case yet again, Crosby comes out of an incident without punishment. And Methot? He's left with a mangled finger

Senators owner went off on him. Saw it played on NHLN. Owner didn't mince any words. League doesn't seem prone to do anything about it. So the players will police their own. Bank it.

Two dirty incidents in one week, and they still refuse to punish him. That's ****ing pathetic.

The thing is, hockey wise, I love watching Crosby play. But stuff like that? No bueno

Someone is going to **** Crosby up at some point

And 1 team's fanbase(the Penguins)will lose their minds. The OTHER 29(or 30)teams will celebrate.

Understand this: I respect Crosby a LOT for his skills. But NOT for his dirty antics such as this.
