If Jack Eichel wants Danny Boy gone the Pegulas will eat the last 3 years of Dannys Contract..

****ing show up to the meeting on time and do the work you're getting paid for and there's not an issue.

Yes Samson ****ed up.. But what is being said in the media is players are unhappy with Bylsma.... Does Eichel have enough cache at this point to dictate who should be the coach

Gionta seemed to back him pretty hard on this one.

I think their unhappiness with him and this incident are two different topics. Kane was previously scratched for missing a practice (Reinhart would have been scratched last night if Okposo wasn't sick). I would also assume/guess that this isn't the first time he showed up or missed a meeting.

like Coastal said - he's getting paid a good hunk of change. Show up and do your job.

If they let the players sack Blysma it will set this franchise back even further than it already is.

If this isn't the 1st time Samson has missed a meeting or been late then what the **** is going on with him... Every predraft analysis on him said he was the most responsible and maturest and took hockey the most seriously of all the 2014 draft prospects..

There's clearly a culture with these players they are trying to correct.

Kane tweeted pics from Bali during the" bye-week". They came back from the bye week in shooting distance of the playoffs chase and proceeded to win 3 of the next 15 games.

i remember reading one quote from GMTM about drinking or something during that stretch.

if the players are trying to weasle out of being responsible for their role in this franchise's success or lack thereof by pinning it on Blysma... and Murray and Pegs let them get a way with that, then **** this organization as far as I'm concerned.

i say this and I'm not a fan of Blysma's metrics coaching.

I wouldn't read into it much until we know for sure. This might just be a first time offense. If it is, tough love. If its not, it needs to be addressed

Word on the local radio on the way home suggested it might have been a directive from Murray to Bylsma to tighten up the ship.

This sounds a bit like the inmates starting to run the asylum. This wouldn't happen with Lou Lamoriello in the organization. GMTM better offer an edict to the players that they'd better shut up and do their jobs. And to remember they are paid professionals not high school kids on a weekend road trip any more.

And for goodness sakes delete some of the baggage on this team. Like Ennis. What a waste of space.

Georges has to be right there

Gorges has one year left on his deal at about 3 million

Bogosian has 4 years left at over 5 million per year

Getting Kane was great. Losing Myers wasnt

To me, you gotta keep gionta if he wants to play. He is professional and he still contributes. Keep him. And get more vets

I wouldn't argue over that, however Ennis has been a Sabre longer. He came in with Gerbe. Gerbe burnt out in Carolina and went to Switzerland. And yet Ennis is still hanging around as a Sabre putting up 3 goals a year. Enough already.

I never believed ennis or hodgson to be the teams future, but the way they played the first tank season, I figured they had some value for the immediate future, and could be shipped off for parts once the kids developed a new core. Coho absolutely crashed and ennis hasn't been much better.

Bylsma SHOULD be gone, but not for this. It's the play on the ice that is the problem. We've regressed from last season.

Keep in mind the Penguins eventually grew tired of his act and ashcanned him.

Also, Buffalo IS going to lose one player to Las Vegas.

But they can protect the few good players they have: LINK (https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-expansion-draft-rules/c-281010592)

We can all pretty well predict how the Sabres list will fall.

It will be interesting what quality of team the Las Vegas franchise can assemble. Furthermore, it will be interesting to see the trade action leading up to good teams preparing their rosters for this draft. Some of the good teams stand to lose good players, who they may try to trade and get something for first.

Solid 2nd pairing guys aren't no trade guys. As bad as the rest of the crew is they prolly should hang on to him though.

The only untouchables on the Sabres are Jack and Risto IMO. You don't trade guys with legitimate Hart and Norris potential. Anyone else can go if it improves the team.
