    Romo Retires

here are some good read links on it.

    http://https://www.nytimes.com/2017/...ires.html?_r=0

Despite interest from at least one playoff-ready NFL team, Dallas Cowboys legend and four-time Pro Bowler Tony Romo retired from playing on Tuesday and was officially released by the team.

I think this is best for him.

It's amazing how fast romo went from underrated to overrated

Now they call him a cowboys legend? He's won 2 playoff games on very good teams along with having a big part in missing the playoffs multiple times by shutting down and throwing ints I'm clutch moments.
Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions

I wish Buffalo fans could hold up a QB as being either underrated, overrated and a legend in a discussion.

Romo and Brady were pure luck

Now if we could be like SF was for 30 years, going from Montana to Young to Garcia. Or how GB went from Favre to Rodgers

Or even Indi, yes id be jealous of them, but Dallas got lucky with Romo

            Right call.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
            It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

You are all missing the big news in this. We won't have to listen to Phill Simms anymore!!

Is he just doing it so he's free to go to whatever team he wants?

                Or is he really retired?

Dallas still has his rights no matter what. Just like if Lynch comes out Seattle has to release/trade him
