Yates is a young Brian Hoyer
Take that for however you want. He makes good reads, will get the ball to playmakers, but has a lot of flaws. Not great velocity, throws in tight windows that he sometimes can't make, and throws high passes at times. But he's mostly accurate and will definitely use the playmakers he has and let them make plays
I actually really thought he was a steal his first year but never got much of a chance. There is a reason Houston kept him for 5 years as their backup, he's a very reliable backup.Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinionsComment
