All in all, the Buffalo Bills (http://buffalowdown.com/) have said goodbye to 35 players so far this offseason. That number could still increase before NFL teams begin making their initial roster cuts, but most of the big-name cuts and departures have already been made.

Is it possible that LeSean McCoy will get cut after June 1st?

Sounds crazy, but dollars in the NFL are measured by production.

2015 was a disappointing season for Shady. He missed 4 games and his highest rushing total in a game was 112 yards.

He ran for 3 TD's and rushed for 895 yards.

McCoy had a much better season in 2016, but are his contract numbers worth the money?

Shady tore it up against bad teams like Cleveland and San Francisco, but when it came to good teams with a solid run defense, McCoy was irrelevant.

Do you want to invest $8 million in a player that is past his prime as an NFL running back?

Not only is he past his prime, McCoy was the only player that didn't show up to the Bills first "voluntary," workout.

Is Shady the kind of "team player," Sean McDermott wants on his team?

Is McDermott saying to himself, "this is the same $&it I had to deal with in Philly?"

Look at Ezekiel Elliot and what he did in his rookie season.

Given McCoy's age, recent production on the field, and what some would call, "character issues," off the field, is he worth the money?

Too many fa's, too few contributing draft picks. That's on Whaley who relies too much on his pro personnel work to cover for his feeble draft work. That kind of expertise is condemned to short term attempts at success and not foundation. That's not what you want from a 7-9 team that obviously wasn't on the edge of being a contender, but was instead on the edge of being a .500 team.

Ryan and company bumbled the collection of "talent" anyway in obsolete schemes, but it's really hard to say they have a great remaining selection of young talent without falling back on the endless Bills hope of "maybe".

If they trade up for anyone whatever this draft, I'll be infuriated then stop caring when it wears off.

Yep, rookie contracts are the key to winning in the salary cap NFL. Spending a top 10 pick on a position like safety is stupid because even if it works out you just end up with a fair priced contract. If it doesn't work, you're paying probowl money for a draft bust.

Early picks have to be at expensive positions.

I'm really hoping to see them trade back and get more picks. Even if it's more picks next year.
