The phone rings and it's New Orleans Saints GM Mickey Loomis. Loomis says that his team is looking to trade out of the first round and wants to make a deal with you for the #32 pick.

Here is there offer:
NO 1st (#32) and NO 6th (#186)
for
BUF 2nd (#44), BUF 5th (#156), and 2018 BUF 1st

Do you pull the trigger on the deal and if so who are you targeting at 32?

No.

I don't. Supposedly, the QB crop next year is much better than this year. I keep next years 1st just in case they are in a position to get a better one than this draft offers.

There is no "gotta have player" available at 32 to make me want to give up a first for next year.

Seems to me this trade is guaranteed to be bad for the Bills in terms of value. Our pick next year will certainly not be the 32nd pick, most likely it would be in the top 10. It just seems to favor the Saints too much. The only big benefit for the Bills would be that 1st round picks have an extra year on their rookie contracts so we could keep the player longer before re-signing. Other than that though, no way I would make the trade. Admittedly, I don't follow college ball much so I don't know which player would be worth taking either.

No way. There's no one in this draft that I would be willing to give up a 2018 first round pick for.

So not one person thinks Kizer could be a franchise QB?

Some other names to consider who some may consider worthy:
LB Zach Cunningham
CB Kevin King
CB Adoree Jackson
OT Garrett Bolles
SS Obi Melifonwu

There's a solid chance that one of those guys could fall to 44 at this juncture. You might not have to give up a damn thing to get one of them.

No.
Don't see anyone I'd give up next year's first for.

Hell No wasn't an option, so I went with just plain No.

If I am the Bills GM and I have already drafted a TE at #10 overall, then when the phone rings all the caller would hear is the sound of a gun going off next to my temple.

Since this is you be the GM, are we pretending we have the job of the GM or we are the current GM? Because that has a huge impact on how I vote (unfortunately).

That you have the job.

Also a pretty solid chance that they are all gone. You willing to risk that knowing you took a luxury BPA pick at #10?

I could make an argument for Cunningham or Kizer (if you believe he's the real deal). Other guys are tough calls but really close.

I'm big on Cunningham but not at that price. We need too much else and don't have enough picks as it is.

I don't see anyone at #32 worth another 1st and an immediate 2nd. Strikes me as a trade a solid 10 win wildcard team makes to grab a critical piece thinking to complete a run for championship. That's not the Bills.

Horrible. No way you take that trade.

No, the Bills 1st round pick in 2018 has the potential to be top 5.
