living in Pittsburgh for all these years and having staying in Boston for awhile, I can tell you that if the team is consistently successful, you won't be so much into draft as teams like Buffalo. Some die-hard fans may still be into it, but in general, Steelers and patriots fan will take a peek in the morning paper to see who the team drafted, not living high and wide or cursing or jumping off roof top for a particular pick.

That's all the Bills need. Whaley signs his fate by drafting yet another big name pass catcher with no one to throw to him. OR... even better yet. We need the best RB in the draft to back-up our top-3 NFL RB off the bench because the Bills just don't have any other holes to fill.

Here would be my take if we did that: not terrible. My first choice would be a trade down and my second would be a defensive player. BUT my first rule when it comes to 1st round picks, particularly early 1st rounders is DON'T DRAFT A BUST. You want to roll the dice on an injury/character risk later in the draft? Ok. But the first round you want first and foremost a good player with little or no baggage. Howard qualifies on that score for sure.

I would love OJ Howard and it would be hard to pass on a talent like Fournette, but it doesn't seem likely that either will be there at #10.
