1. Cleveland Browns - Myles Garrett - They have no choice but to select him, his projection to be great is too high.

2. San Francisco 49ers - Jamal Adams - Second best player in the draft and sets the tone on defense.

3. Chicago Bears - Malik Hooker - Stopping Rodgers requires playmakers in the secondary. They have McPhee and Floyd to rush the passer.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars - Deshaun Watson - A bit surprising but new coach with new GM may be looking for a winner behind center.

5. Cleveland Browns - TRADE - Mitchell Trubisky - The rumors have indicated Cleveland trading up. This makes sense for a team looking for a QB.

6. New York Jets - Marshon Lattimore - Their secondary is bare, Lattimore has injury concerns but his value is there at 6

7. San Diego Chargers - Haason Reddick - Reddick fits well as a base OLB and edge rusher on passing downs in Gus Bradley's defense.

8. Carolina Panthers - Leonard Fournette - Easy pick for the Panthers here as they need rejuvenation in the backfield.

9. Cincinnati Bengals - OJ Howard - They already have Eifert but he suffered through injuries and either way, why not have 2 top TEs? Either can play outside.

10. Buffalo Bills - Solomon Thomas - It was unexpected but QB selections push Thomas to the Bills. He succeeds KW as the motor of the Bills D. Plays in and out. (Hoping for Quincy Wilson or JuJu Smith-Schuster in round 2.)

11. New Orleans Saints - Jonathan Allen - Not much to think about, they need defense and his value at 11 is excellent.

12. Tennessee Titans - Mike Williams - Huge target for Mariota who is already one of the best QBs in redzone efficiency.

13. Arizona Cardinals - David Nkoju - Larry is older now and outside of that they lack size in their receiving corps. He'll help out Palmer and David Johnson.

14. Philadelphia Eagles - TJ Watt - They have a few glaring needs but DE stands out. TJ gives them another weapon on passing downs.

15. Indianapolis Colts - Takkarist Mckinley - Colts need defense with almost every pick - Tak gives them a strong presence at OLB that makes plays behind the line.

16. Baltimore Ravens - Charles Harris - Ravens need to bulk up their pass rush. Harris has the build of an OLB in their 3-4.

17. Washington Redskins - John Ross - Replacing Desean Jackson with John Ross is logical.

18. Tennessee Titans - Reuben Foster - Foster is a top 10 talent but has baggage. Titans need help at ILB in their 3-4.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Christian McCaffrey - The Bucs offense needs to be more explosive. McCaffrey offers that on the ground and through the air.

20. Denver Broncos - Ryan Ramczyk - First OL off the board to a team that needs it badly.

21. Detroit Lions - Tyus Bowser - He can cover and can also rush the passer on third down - Getting after Rodgers is priority here.

22. Miami Dolphins - Forrest Lamp - Miami needs help inside and Lamp projects as a solid Zach Martin type pick. This will help Ajayi continue his success off last year.

23. NY Giants - Dalvin Cook - Big upgrade at RB for the Giants. Cook can take some pressure off of Manning.

24. Oakland Raiders - Adoree Jackson - They can stand to add more athleticism in their secondary, Jackson provides that. I also see a trade down here for teams wanting Mahomes.

25. Houston Texans - Patrick Mahomes - Likely an upgrade over anyone on the roster.

26. Seattle Seahawks - Derek Barnett - Great value pick here. Barnett gives them some youth on the edge.

27. Kansas City Chiefs - Corey Davis - Alex Smith can use a great route running WR with redzone skills.

28. Dallas Cowboys - Tre'Davious White - Solid corner who fits their zone scheme well. They also let their starting CBs walk in FA.

29. Green Bay Packers - Budda Baker - He can play safety or nickel. The Packers get a solid football player with ball skills.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jarrad Davis - Davis helps fill the big void Lawrence Timmons left behind.

31. Atlanta Falcons - Taco Charlton - Big, athletic pass rusher who a strong all-around game to upgrade their defense for another run

32. New Orleans Saints - Jabrill Peppers - He will bring athleticism and physicality and attitude to the Saints D.

He's certainly projected to be an impact player.

Good God, if Solomon Thomas fell to us, I'd be ecstatic and immediately break into a happy dance...which looks bad for an old white guy.

Yeah, I'd be pretty stoked if Thomas dropped to us also.
