It very well could be. But it's the NFL. One injury could change anything. Bills got a steal taking another 1st and 3rd and still got a CB.

The draft is a crap shoot every year. All the good teams accumulate picks and then hit on a few of em. Now we are doing so and you guys *****

You can package them together to trade up or acquire an established star.

Heck of a bargaining chip.

I love the trade, but I'm still confident the pick will be in the 20s. There are always teams that improve/underperform, but the Chiefs of late have been pretty consistent under Reid. No one thinks they'll contend for the Superbowl, but no one thinks they'll be bottom feeders, either.

There's no point in arguing whether or not this was a good or bad move. No one will change their mind until we see how the picks perform in the NFL.

this is true, but even perennial playoff teams have an off year now and then (except new england)
The same way that it's almost not even noteworthy anymore if a Super Bowl team from the year before doesn't even make the playoffs the next season.
there's nothing saying that won't happen to KC this year. Unlikely yes, but certainly not impossible.

They are in a division with Denver, a stud QB in Oakland. Those are 4 tough games off the bat.

A couple of injuries and all of a sudden 11-5 becomes 7-9 and a Top 10 draft spot.

Yeah, they have a strong D but they lose a couple of players and the record could flip, plus they play in one of most competitive divisions, no easy Wins.

Great trade. Anyone who says otherwise is a freaking maroon

IDK, I was intrigued by Howard. I thought he could be an every down player and a dual threat receiver/blocker in the red zone.

White fills a need obviously but probably won't have the impact of Howard. Perhaps by a longshot. Question is, will White + next year's K.C. pick and a third, match the production of what could be a short yardage/red zone force.

I could easily see Kansas City going 8 and 8. It will probably end up being a middle of the round pick

Even going .500 in division, they still hav BUf, NJJ, NJG, Dal, Wash, Phil, Houston, Mia, NE, Pitts.

.500 gets us...around the 18th- 20th pick.

Perfect spot for WR but Bills screwed that up.

A lot of magical thinking going on in this thread.
