We should have just picked Mahomes at 10

I'm starting to think we should've just stayed at 10 and picked Mahomes.

After watching tape on him he looks pretty legit.

I know the plan is to take a QB in next year's draft. But the teams that will have the top 3 picks are probably all going to need QB's, so why would they trade out? And even if they were willing to trade out, would we even have enough ammunition? Our 1st round picks will most likely be like 11th and 24th(or close to that) so I doubt that would even be enough to get into the top 3.

Maybe I'm wrong guess we'll have to wait and see how things play out.

Meh. Mahomes will be fun to follow and I hope he succeeds, but I'm kinda done with the big splash riverboat gambling thing we've seen over the years. The trade down made sense. Plus Peterman in the fifth, who is more NFL ready could, could, have a longer career. Even if it is holding a clipboard...

Claiming it is a mistake not to draft Mahomes in the first while inferring a mistake to take a flyer on a 5th rounder is laughable.

As long as he stays on the roster more than 2 seasons, he's instantly more memorable than Jeff Tuel.

How about by all the "experts" evaluations, there wasn't a QB in this draft worth a 1st round pick and we got a probable starter with White. So REACHING for Mahoomes would have been stupid!
