What improvement? 3 rounder with 1 interception for his career.
Released 1 yr into a 3 year extension.

Hated SF and requested a trade... granted trade.

Roster fodder and perhaps special teamer

He might not prove to be an upgrade, but a team has to keep bringing in bodies if they think they can be an upgrade over somebody they already have.

Considering after Darby, Seymour and Tre' White we have guys like Roberson, Johnson, Cromartie, Gaines and Sylve I don't think it's a reach that Wright could bump any of those guys out of the #4 or #5 spot. Hell, for that matter, what has Seymour done to possibly be considered a lock for the top 3?

Perhaps but he's not a lock at all.

Must've have been a Pegula hire. He likes releasing people after extending them.

Sign a bunch of guys and let camp sort it out.

No, he's not starter quality, but he has had 15 starts over the past 2 seasons. You know he's not going to poop his pants if in an emergency he is thrust into a starting position. That's worth something.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Ehh go online. He has videos all over of him getting burned by tons of receivers. He has horrible ball skills and get faked out easily. Hell make sterling moore seem like a probowler

Well, there are going to be some undrafted rookie corners in camp. If they clearly play better than S. White, then White gets cut in favor of a rookie.

The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.

Based on his combine scouting report he is more of a zone corner which is what McDermott is looking for.

He may have more success in this scheme than the Ravens or Niners which I believe play more man concepts.

I like that he is a solid tackler, helps when you play nickel.
