ALLEN PARK -- Luther Elliss can't do much more in training camp than stand and watch the Lions' defensive tackles go through drills without him. He has time to observe his teammates, and think about his own situation.
Elliss has time to project how he would perform in different situations -- and time to wonder exactly where he fits in the Lions' plans for the 2003 season.
Elliss is working on a narrow margin in his recovery from the torn right pectoral muscle he suffered earlier this month while lifting weights at home in Utah. He has to regain strength and range of motion in order to be effective....
