A lot of the professional sports teams have gone to great lengths to develop witty twitter accounts that joke around with opposing teams, and fans. The NBA actually does a really good job with this, including having team twitter accounts talk smack back and for as the game is ongoing. Its just another layer for fans to enjoy both as part of game day and outside of it.
