Punters aren't very exciting, but considering Colton Schmidt had the worst net yards per punt in the NFL last year, Austin Rekhow was pretty unanimously the highest ranked punter coming out of college so maybe he can help improve our special teams.

The DT from Pitt and LB from Georgia Tech are honestly the only names I know without looking any of them up.

Jalin Robinette is a WR from the Air Force Academy with great size and OK speed. He had huge hands, and I've seen some encouraging scouting reports regarding his quickness and elusiveness. Underused at Air Force. What I'm confused about is the fact that I also saw a story that said the Air Force has ended their policy of granting deferrals from active service for academy grads who had the opportunity for an NFL career. The article specifically mentioned Robinette, and stated he would have to fulfill a two year military commitment .
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Yes, or as Mace lovingly calls it a Leslie Frazier Special.

Right before the NFL draft, Air Force receiver Jalen Robinette was denied immediate entry to the pros. But behind the scenes, work is being done to try to get him in the NFL this season.

Interesting invite. Big WR at 6-3 220. Just a 4.6 guy but his hands are catcher mitt size 10 7/8. Supposedly very talented. Wonder how his case will go. Something to watch.

                              Good evening, Mace!

I'm under the impression that Sean McDermott is going to implement his defense from Carolina that is not a Tampa 2 defense.

Is it safe to say the Bills aren't going to be running the Tampa 2?

Looks like a nickel defense (3-3-5 or 4-2-5) 70% of the time because the NFL is a passing league.

If it was a running league, the Bills would be the 2 time defending Super Bowl Champions in 2017.

But...the eventual outcome of the nickel defense that is so popular to defend the pass in the NFL today will result in the return of the running game.

Is the NFL really cyclical like that, or will the pass forever be dominant?

That all depends on the future of NFL quarterbacks.

The next Brady, Kelly, Elway, Marino, Roethlisberger, Favre? I don't see it.

Help me, Mace. I am confounded.

The Bills are no longer under threat from the Frazier Special, and the NFL is headed where in terms of the passing game?

Drew Brees had a great year in 2016. Saints defense sucked, but I thought if you had a franchise QB the defense doesn't matter?

                              End rant.
