No he didnt!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhh where do people get these numbers. i spent 40 minutes one time trying to figure out how they got the number 209, its 149. 108 solo, 41 ast....i can check my math, but im pretty sure it dosent add up to 209.

lordofgun
07-30-2003, 09:54 PM
I've seen it both ways, but I choose to believe 209.

Bottom line, if the NFL says he had 209, he had 209, who am i to argue with them, its their job to know. But every time ive looked into it, ive come up with 149.

Did you hear them say 209 on the yearbook at 10?

venis2k1
07-30-2003, 10:06 PM
Yea, thats why im accepting that he had 209, but best i can figure he had 149, i just cant figure how they got the number of 209, i even went through all the game logs, still got 149.

If the Bills say it's 209, it's 209. I believe everything they say, don't all of you? I don't care that his bio on nflplayers.com says 148. I believe everything the Bills say...

Seriously, I think they've done a bit of a disservice to a better player - Chris Spielman.

Wys must have been pissed last night ;). They must have said about 4 times that the reason for our 5 game improvement had a lot to do with Drew

The first thing that I thought of when they had Ruben on talking about how excited he was when Drew arrived and kept showing highlites of Drew in the huddle, was Wys.

RB:"Drew is what we've been looking for since Jim left"

BillsDigest also has him with 209

But if you took away his biggest tackles and his assisted tackles.....

Drew huddle: "Come on guys don't argue. I'll throw the ball to everyone, all five of ya can be over 100 yards. But we're approaching the endzone, so I'll toss an INT, then the D can get the ball back deep in our own end and we'll have more field to do it again. Josh, you'll get the ball more on the next drive. I think I've thrown for over 500 yards already and my arm really hurts, so I must've put it up a good 80 or so times.

Some ill-fitting rookie: "Shouldn't we try to score since we're down by only 3?"

Drew: "You need some more experience before you realize how to play on the Bills. Read some more articles about me first! There's still plenty of time and I'm not my best unless I can 'try a comeback', so I'll "set that up" and we'll give it the old college try, eh! Besides, I'm only 17 attempts short of another NFL record, most attempts w/o scoring a TD. And I'm 208 yards away from shattering the NFL record for most yards thrown in consecutive games w/o a TD. I think Rob held it. That will permanently erase the fans memory of him."

"Ready, BREAK!"

Huddle: DREW!

If you took away half of Drew's INTs then he's actually good...

So I guess what Voltron was saying, or trying to say, is that the reason why Fletcher had 415 tackles was b/c of Drew.

Can't argue that. 415 Ts is a lot of Ts and it's a good thing, so Drew gets the credit according to new FO policies!

Actually I won't argue. The 19 or so extra drives that Drew gave opponents must have contributed in there somewhere.

Of course I'm not "doing it right" here I realize...

I'm sorry wys, didn't mean to get you defensive about your boy Rob. We all know he was a better leader than Drew, VP and Flutie combined. The players that played with all four seem to think so too  All they did was outplay Rob. All busts I say compared to Rob.
