The Buffalo Bills (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills) starting center Eric Wood (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/71167/eric-wood) talked with Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News about his recovery from a broken leg in a recent interview (http://buffalonews.com/2017/05/25/bills-wood-feeling-close-hundred-percent-return-broken-leg/?utm_campaign=puma&utm_medium=social&utm_source=Facebook#link_time=1495800016). Wood broke his fibula and also damaged a ligament in his ankle in the Bills Monday Night Football match up against the Seattle Seahawks (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/seattle-seahawks) in November of last year.

"‘I would say I'm close to a hundred percent, but not fully a hundred percent,’" Wood relayed to Carucci. Wood has participated in the majority of Buffalo’s OTA practices this season, but still has some limitations.
Just before the beginning of last season, the Bills and Wood agreed to restructure the center’s contract (http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2016/9/9/12861096/buffalo-bills-restructure-eric-wood-contract-stephon-gilmore). This restructuring lowered his cap hit last season, and added 2018 as a voidable year; leaving this upcoming season as his only one securely under contract. Looming in Wood’s rear view mirror are Ryan Groy (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/246042/ryan-groy) and Patrick Lewis (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/196091/patrick-lewis), who both filled in last season for Wood. Eric Wood’s health and performance this season will determine whether the Bills keep their starting center of the past six seasons or move on.

I'm glad to hear he is fully healed but I just think he is no longer strong enough to properly anchor.
