If I pay for a ticket, that's probably where it's going to be.

In Kyle's ass?

I do not understand the title to the content of this thread.

If you look behind Dareus, you can see the upper deck and it looks like most of the seats have been removed. Why he thought this was newsworthy, I have no idea.

New plastic seats are much more conducive to the human fanny, and not as cold.

Those old steel seats were like sitting on a sheet of ice on Lake Erie.

Major shrinkage.

Ah. I haven't sat in the upper deck in probably 20 years and the last few times I was up there were early games that weren't really cold.

My wife hates heights so we usually get endzone seats.

That's where I bought my ticket this year!

Are you saying that once the Bills sold you a season ticket, that they immediately realized they needed wider seats in that section?

Do we have the only stadium without any type of roof of any kind? Seems with the 17 billion in repairs we could have swung a roof for someone.

The Aud was tough on folks that have the worry.

Long-gone Three Rivers in PGH (as well as Riverfront in CIN) were round stadiums, and had steep uppers. But it was "theater in the round", so to speak, and it made for great sight lines.

30 or so years ago, the "retro" fad for BB stadiums were the rage. In BUF, IIRC, they had Pilot Field.

Went to one game, along the 3rd base line...terrible. Spent the game craning my neck over my right shoulder. It reminded me of Offerman, but I was a kid then - flexibility of body was abundant.

Ummm, no.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MetLife_Stadium

Met Life Stadium cost 1.6 Billion, and doesn't have a roof, and doesn't need a roof.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier_Field

Soldier Field doesn't have nor need a roof.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_Field

Same for Heinz Field.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gillette_Stadium

And Gillette Stadium.

And there are many more.

Indoor football is for pussies and soccer fans (redundancy, I know).

Mostly agree, except Soldier Field. They need to gut the place, rip out the flying saucer, rebuild it the way it was, have some sort of revenue generating crap behind the the stands on the squared off side and apologize for destroying the beauty of one of the more beautiful stadiums in the league.

Is Pilot Field the one that became Dunn Tire? I saw a game or two there when I was a kid. But the only thing I really remember is that it was my introduction to loganberry juice. We don't really do that in Rochester.

Pilot Field = North Americare Park = Dunn Tire Park = Coca Cola Field.

80% of DDW threads are not newsworthy.. And he cant spell 5 letter words

I went to the Cinci game last year, and it snowed for a bit prior to the start of the game. Had upper deck tickets and literally stood the entire time. No way I was sitting on wet aluminum for three hours. Long day. On the plus-side though, I got to see EJ Manuel hit Sammy Watkins on a TD pass that was so poorly thrown that Watkins sprained his ankle catching it; never saw something like that before.

That's fine, but no roof.

Also, it wasn't really that beautiful before. You walked in the north side of the stadium, through an odd big empty space for about 30 yards, then entered the second, larger space you see on TV. It was rickety and nasty, but it was a hard core football space.

I don't get the flying saucer thing at all. It's just weird. With all the games they played in the Fighting Illini stadium, they should have done a much better job.
