They lost because of a garbage whistle in the 2nd period. The NHL deserves to get **** on for that. Sabres fans should know better than to criticize a home crowd for being pissed off at losing the Stanley Cup to bad calls.Comment

I played roller hockey when I was a kid. One time, not enough people signed up so we had a ridiculous age gap in our division- I think it was 12-17 or something. The ref's son was barely 12 and couldn't skate for ****. Needless to say, a 12 y/o who can't skate playing against 16-17 y/o's who can is gonna be down, a lot. But every time the kid would fall, the ref would call a penalty on whoever happened to be nearby.
