    Buffalo draws yet ANOTHER showcase

    This time, an entirely new one.

    The first-ever OHL Showcase will be held September 1st-3rd at Harborcenter. In releasing their 2017-18 schedule, the North Bay Battalion mentioned that they'll be one of the 6 teams taking part in the event. They'll play 3 games against teams TBD. It would not surprise me one bit to see Sudbury, Barrie, Mississauga and Niagara(the rest of the OHL's Central Division)and Erie be the other 5 teams taking part.
    John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
    David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

    Well, now we know ALL of the teams in that showcase(and it turns out my prediction was WAY off, except for one team)...:

    *The Memorial Cup champion Windsor Spitfires
    *The OHL champion Erie Otters
    *Kitchener(which last season had Cheektowaga-born D Frank Hora)
    *Peterborough
    *Flint

    and the aforementioned Battalion.
