“For us today, we’re going to pick at eight,” Jeff Crisp, Buffalo’s head amateur scout, told Sabres.com (https://www.nhl.com/sabres/video/jeff-crisp-62217/t-277437090/c-52283303). “He’s got some things in the hopper he’s working on, but as of now we’re going to have eight players, and we’re comfortable that we’re going to get a good player at 8.”

Botterill said last week he had made calls about moving up or down in the first round. Clearly, he’s still handling calls.

Well if he didn't he wouldn't be doing a very good job, now would he?
