    Karlos Williams

    Suspended again. For a year.

The NFL has suspended free agent running back Karlos Williams for at least one year, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

The NFL has suspended free agent running back Karlos Williams for at least one year, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Williams played for the Bills in 2015, rushing for 517 yards and seven touchdowns. The league suspended Williams for the first four games of the 2016 season for a substance-abuse policy violation, and the Bills released him Aug. 21.

Williams joined the Steelers’ practice squad Oct. 12, but in November, the NFL suspended Williams for 10 games.

He had served all but two games of his 10-game suspension, and the Steelers waived him, according to Yates

Must be because his wife is pregnant...or something.

Squandered his only chance at big money for his family because of his weakness, so that's punishment enough. I pity the fool...

The good news is nobody will be posting that we should sign him if the running game is faltering due to an injury to either Shady or his prime backup.

Nobody is likely to admit that the Bills knew what they were doing when they released him, either.

Couple of humps may claim they KNEW releasing him was the right thing to do at the time, though.

          ...the way it works.

Even if the FO knew what they were doing with Williams, their batting average is still very low. Like, below Tim Tebow low.

It was an icy day.We buried the cat, then took her box and set fire to it in the back yard. Those fleas that escaped earth and fire died by the cold.

It's a shame. The NFL needs to remove marijuana from the substance abuse policy. Anyone want to look silly debating?

It's an injustice nationwide as well to NFL players to have such severe policy. Karlos should know better, but it's so silly. Dude just lost huge $$$$$$

It is unknown on what exactly Williams is suspended for, but it is likely due to a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. He served a four-game ban at the start of the 2016 season as a result of a similar violation for marijuana. His NFL career moving forward is in severe doubt

Here it goes again. It's not about pot, it's about violating terms of profession and related conduct. A lot of players don't fail drug tests. A lot of employers have drug testing options. A lot of employees aren't sanctioned by following the rules they know and understand.

Multiple violations with a bright career just beginning. The problem isn't pot.

You have an opportunity to make millions a year playing a sport, the league tells you not to do something, you don't do it. If my employer told me to stop doing something, it doesn't matter if I think it's alright to do, or harmless, I don't do it. Unless I'm willing to deal with the consequences.

Sorry Mace, I didn't see your post before I responded. I do agree with you.
