    San Fran @ Buffalo 1972

    I was there.

QB John Brodie hurt and backup Steve Spurrier comes in. Bills rally to win with O.J. having a good day.
TE Jan White out of Ohio St catches a TD, then retires the next year at 24 to work with children in the Ohio Court system. Ack ! He was so freakin' good. Saban then moves OT Paul Seymour to TE in 1973 to give O.J 6 OL blockers and 2003 yards.

No brainer re the move. Seymour couldn't catch a cold, let alone a pass. IIRC, they successfully peddled him with injury to PGH for WR Frank Lewis.

Checkout the latest stats for Paul Seymour. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, college, draft, and more on Pro-football-reference.com.

The Dem party in California would fight for your right to vote at age 6.

Good thing for Simpson. Dennis Shaw was his typical self: 8 for 20 for 105 yards. 1 TD. 1 INT.

Off-season has been rather quiet at OBD. McDermott working and keeping it quiet, which can only be a good sign of things to come.

Meanwhile looking back at these old games are fun to fill in the time. Keep them coming.

BTW, to put that game into perspective, the 49ers went 8-5-1 and won the NFC West that season.
