Does that mean he underthrew him and got lucky or was it legit?

Day 1 recap:

Day one of practice for the 2017 Buffalo Bills (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills) is in the books, and most reports indicate that it had a much different feel than the practices in training camp for the last two seasons.

I think we can now break camp and make the cuts Friday.

Seantrel Henderson left practice for an undisclosed reason, but he returned ten minutes later.

I don't think Andre Holmes is going to make the cut as the Bills #2 WR.

Same problem that has plagued his career showed up tonight. He drops too many good passes.

Peterman lacks arm strength, and that showed tonight as well.

Nate Geary noted (https://twitter.com/NateGearyWGR/status/890691899849416705)that Taylor threw the ball with much more velocity than backups T.J. Yates (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/131472/t-j-yates) and Nathan Peterman (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/286014/nathan-peterman);
Thanks for the updates!

Pace of practice "greatly increased," compared to Rex.

Coach McDermott wins Day 1.

Sounds and looks like McyD knows how to run a fast paced, coordinated practice in his first Training Camp as HC.

That's impressive.

Per Twitter, it was a good throw. In Joe Buscalia's opinion, Peterman struggled in his first camp session. The pass to Streater was the lone exception to a poor day overall. To be fair, Buscaglia made a point of not attaching significance to the struggle, suggesting it was what one could legitimately expect of a rookie QB in his initial practice.

Thanks for the link. Velocity has never been a concern for me with Taylor. Accuracy is good to read, but anticipation has been the main problem. I think he holds the ball too long and waits for someone to be wide open before throwing. Have to be able to anticipate cuts and make an accurate throw in the NFL. Still, good that he's leading the team. Hopefully these WR's and the OL can step up.

The state of society under the omnipresent eye of social media. A player going to take a **** is 'breaking news'.

anyone wanna tell me what the red caps mean on the helmets? I assume it's a "don't hit me" cap.

How does Ragland look?

I was going to mention this in NT's live stream thread but backed off because I didn't want to say anything negative but while watching the pre-practice stretching dude looked like he gained about 20 lbs in his ass and didn't look comfortable bending, twisting, etc. Don't know if it means anything.

That would be my guess.
