I don't think it is really so much a matter of disliking Jones. Jones was drafted because his skill set matched what Greg Roman wanted to do offensively. He wanted to run the ball every which way to force defenses to stack the box. Then, he wanted to be able to complete long bombs. Jones fits the specs. He can run (maybe not like Tyrod, but with some effectiveness. The key, however is Jones' ability to heave the football as far as any offensive coordinator would ever dream. Obviously, Dennison's offense doesn't place the premium on the big arm that Roman's offense did. I think Dennison's offense places more of a premium on quick, effective decision making and accuracy. Peterman needs to grow some in terms of decision making under pressure, but he does tend to be quick thinking, and has demonstrated accuracy. It is notable that the Chargers head coach is Anthony Lynn. I think Lynn basically liked the offense he inherited from Roman last year.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

He was exceedingly raw coming out of college. Everybody knew that, and understood it would be a multiyear project to get him to a place where he could make an on field contribution. Beane/McDermott simply have different priorities than the previous Bills' administration.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
