ALLEN PARK -- Boss Bailey has spent most of his athletic career knowing that there is seldom a reason to look over his shoulder. Hardly anybody gains on him.
Speed -- the skill that separates athletes when everything else is equal -- is what gives Bailey his best chance to run away from the competition and win a starting job as the Lions' strong-side linebacker.
"He's as fast a linebacker as there's been in a while, I think," Coach Steve Mariucci said Wednesday about the team's second-round draft pick from Georgia....
