Nearly every NFL team has a player or two who rises from the ranks of the obscure each summer to make the team. While it's far too early to name him a camp surprise, wide receiver Arland Bruce III is making an impression with the 49ers.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Bruce is related to Rams All-Pro Isaac Bruce. "I haven't talked to him much," Arland said. "He's a distant cousin."
