Home against the Jets

Away against the Panthers

Home against the Broncos

Away against the Falcons

Away against the Bengals

BYE

The Jets lost a lot of key players that beat the Bills twice last year. Hackenberg or McCown at QB? I wouldn't call it Tank Mode, but it's awfully close.

The Carolina Panthers. McDermott and Beane left Carolina for Buffalo. It used to be the other way around!

Things have really changed.

Carolina recently fired their GM, David Gettleman. Sounds like an organization in chaos.

Cam Newton had surgery on his rotator cuff (shoulder) this offseason.

Cam Newton has not responded well to adversity on the field. Off the field, recovering after surgery on his throwing arm could be a big problem for the Panthers in 2017.

Ron Rivera's river ride is sinking.

The Denver Broncos also have a QB controversy on their sticky hands. Siemian or Lynch? New head coach in Vance Joseph.

Who is Vance Joseph?

The Atlanta Falcons. The Music City Miracle of 1999 caused at minimum a 17 year playoff drought for the Buffalo Bills.

After losing Super Bowl LI (51) in stunning fashion, the Falcons should have at least a 34 year playoff drought starting this season.

That loss was twice as bad or more worse than Wide Right or the Home Run Throwback combined.

The Bengals. 6-9-1 last year and Marvin Lewis still has a job. Some things never change.

Cincinnati's offensive line is going to get wrecked Week 5.

I see us 2-3 at the bye. Not a Negative Nancy, just your typical Bills fan that knows my share of frustration.

1-4, we might catch one of those teams sleeping, maybe the Broncos at home, considering their QB position, possibly the panthers on the road (new offense in carolina, but I don't like the bills odds in carolina), depends, I could see 2-3, but 1-4 looks like the most likely path through the first five games.

2-3, but honestly we could go 0-5.

Really 3-13 is about as good as anyone could expect this season.

Would love to see at least an 8-8 record. A good start. New coach won't carry things overnight as they take time.

If disciplined properly and all our talent is utilized, we might win 5. 2 against the Jets & 3 team that overlooked us, which will be hard to blame them. Right now we are a 1:00 PM team in a smaller market, right off the rust bucket rainbow.

I see us at most with 6 wins and that's counting 2 against the Jets and 1 against Miami.

I see us anywhere from 2-3 to 3-2.......outside of the Falcons all those games are winnable.

Shanahan isn't with the Falcons any more. Some folks are saying the Falcons could be had this year.

Who is Vance Joseph?
He sings that song "Riptide".

Cool tune. Fitting...

After Kubiak retired, Vance Joseph became the new HC of the Broncos.

He was Miami's DC last year. He doesn't have a lot of experience compared to other new head coaches like Shanahan and McDermott.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vance_Joseph

I was surprised GM Elway hired a defensive minded HC. The Broncos also lost Rick Dennison, who made a lateral move to Buffalo to be the Bills OC.

Broncos finished 9-7 last year, and did not make the playoffs. Siemian or Lynch?

Former HC of the Chargers, Mike McCoy is their new OC. From Rivers (pun intended to the video above) to Paxton Lynch or Trevor Siemian?

Bills play the Broncos in Orchard Park Week 3. Like the Jets and the Bengals, I don't see the Broncos as being a better team. Losing Kubiak and Dennison is something Mike McCoy can't replace. If Dennison thought the QB situation in Denver was good, you would think he'd still be in Denver...

As for the Carolina Panthers, they finished 6-10 last year.

The Falcons will never be the same again.

5-0

McCoy was a good hire, I wanted him here.

I think the Bills are probably 2-3 at the bye.

Every one of those games is winnable...away at Falcons is the biggest challenge.
