I was worried about drafting a kid from high school. Remember, Connor Hurley was supposed to be really good and he was out of high school. And he flatlined as a prospect at ND.

But, this kid looks special. I like the pick the more I read about him.

I saw pre-draft rankings having him between 2nd and 4th overall. Reports that the Sabres were stunned when he was still there at #8 may actually have feet. Can't wait to watch some Minnesota college games this fall. That's where he belongs for 1-2 years. Don't rush him.

I saw him at 6th. I like the kid alot. I'm hopeful he is a major piece going forward down the road
