is this something new that the NFL is doing or is it the Bills idea? If it is the Bills idea I like it, these are the goalposts like in my high school playing days, never liked the goalposts with the one bar and the uprights <iframe title="Twitter Tweet" class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" id="twitter-widget-0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen="true" style="padding: 0px; border: medium; border-image: none; width: 500px; height: 496.75px; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; display: block; visibility: visible; position: static; min-width: 220px; max-width: 100%;" allowtransparency="true" data-tweet-id="893577717052035073"></iframe>

Those don't seem high enough plus it's two posts for a player to run into instead of one.

Maybe they want to make them harder for the fans to tear down once the Bills finally clinch a playoff spot again?

it looks like they're on wheels - like a temporary setup.

if tyrod gets the bills to the playoffs, i'll fly to buffalo, and tear them down myself.

Sadly, I don't think it will happen.

If the team actually manages to clinch a playoff spot at home, the entire lower bowl is going to reply 'hold my beer'.

No. I'm all for nostalgia but I don't like this idea at all. It means two posts our guys could potentially run into vs 1. Given our injury history, it's not worth the risk.

Pegula is probably bringing an Australian rules team to town....

These are clearly temporary. Think about what would happen if you tried to put wheels on a regulation goal post (thud).

This is Russ Brandon's first step towards diversification.

Once it becomes clear to the DP that he has no clue how to successfully own a professional team, Kim and him will sell the Bills and once they are relocated, this will be the new Buffalo team....

Wonder why the real ones aren't up by now then...

Maybe they were damaged by the recent storms (the tornadoes hit very close to New Era Stadium)

Even if the wanted to keep them permanently, it would be against league rules.

Belicheck would have the field crew turn the wheels 90deg so they roll with the back line, side to side, and hide a remote control motor in the standoffs so they could be moved left to right at will from the sideline. Miraculously enough, his kicker goes 100% on all field goals and extra points for the entire season, including five for five in the AFC championship game during the great 'Blizzard of '18' while opponents suffer a woeful 39% success rate on their kicks. New England goes to another Super Bowl, Pittsburgh accuses the Pats of cheating after getting screwed in the playoffs, Bill, Tom and Bob all hold press conferences and proclaim "Wut?"..."Who,me?"..."Wahhh, we're being targeted!"...and we get to hear yet another reason why Belicheck is the bestest coach ever and two rungs above God.
