In addition, Disney will be rolling out an ESPN-branded sports streaming service in early 2018. It will feature approximately 10,000 live regional, national, and international games and events a year, including content from Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, Grand Slam tennis, and college sports.

Maybe it will be cheaper than the Center Ice package!

OK, so how many people from ESPN will be laid off to get THIS venture off the ground?

The single team streaming package was $115 last year for 82 games. That's a ****ing steal compared to Sunday Ticket and I don't see it getting any better.

Also, **** ESPN's hockey coverage. They lost their contract in the mid 90's and since then, it's consisted of 3 hours a week of Barry Melrose from a 24 hour a day station (48 if you count ESPN2, more if you count their college station)

They treated the NHL like garbage even when they HAD the rights. At least NBC treats it with some respect(even if they give us too much Mike Milbury, among others).
