The final 53 - Defensive line

On to the defenses, and the trenches.

IMO the interior is easy...Dareus, Kyle, Worthy and Washington. Adolphus will toe the line, and Worthy can also kick to end in some packages.
The bookends are a little tougher. Hughes and Lawson are gimme's...Yarbrough is a TC darling right now (deservedly so). What about anybody else?

I think they only keep the three mentioned above to start the season. Davis hasn't shown anything except he knows some coaches. Valles may be a 'surprise' keep but he (along with the rest of the crew...Seau, Metz, Lewis...) aren't doing anything special. I would go light in numbers here, and use LorAx...maybe even Hodges at times...to spell Hughes and Lawson on the ends.

Lawson, Dareus, KW and Hughes start. Washington, Worthy and Yarbrough back-up with LorAx and Hodges chipping in.

I like what I saw from Metz in the second half of the Vikings game. Active hands and he got into the backfield more than a few times. He showed more than Valles imo.
