Borderline-HOF receiver, all respect but watch his routes and it looks like he's in pain - lot of extra motion, rounded cuts, no burst.

Maybe he's not trying because it's preseason (could've caused the penalty that wiped out the Jones 1st down), but seems like a disservice to count on him as our #1.

I suppose one interesting factor is we have one starter at the very end of the line, and one WR at the very beginning.

He's like a 15-year vet. He has probably been half-assing preseason for 5 years now. I am much more concerned that Taylor looks like he is regressing from last year, which was a regression from 2015.

Hardly any training camp reps. Probably doesn't have his legs underneath of him yet. Plus what does he care about a lousy preseason game? Y'all need to relax. It's just preseason smh

He's never been the fastest guy anyways. He's not there for his speed.

it's weird when you hear a guy is old, and he's younger than you are

then again, I'm not a pro football player

Age catches up to us all. Why would it surprise anyone if he just has nothing left in the tank? I'm not saying he's done but he's playing for a job so yeah he should care. I'm very relaxed....having said that I'm going to keep an eye on Boldin

I'm not saying I'm surprised, more that we're suddenly leaning on him to play 100% of snaps and be a #1 target versus just an elder-statesman #4/RZ target.

Boldin is young compared to the Bradymeister.

He'll be OK once the season starts!

Boldin was old, slow and worn out when he went to Baltimore in 2010.

He hasn't got younger.

Don't think he was signed to have a 1000 yard season. M9re so that he can catch tds in the red zone.

He'll be a useless signing if TT is the QB though. Don't think TT will see find him or take chances throwing to him when he's covered 1 on 1.

Cut. Bills were his last chance at a check, nobody wanted his slow ass but we took a 2 week flyer. Press release is for show that he went out on his own terms.

Nope. He quit the Bills because they are so ****ing embarrassingly bad. Smart move on his part.

Nobody leaves 7 figures on the table unless that one is done with football.

Boldin didn't have the benefit of a full training camp and just because you have a ton of experience it doesn't mean your body and mind won't need preparation.

oh well...

You're looking pretty old too, Wally the Barber.

But don't retire quite yet, because I need a haircut.

I wouldn't be surprised if we split with them this year.
