All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
Re: McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
I'm ok with Peterman developing at his pace, which he is, and he doesn't look like a starter yet, though I think he's progressing. Let the preseason play out. Let him learn and grow at his pace, seems to be working fine.
McDermott will be ok with Peterman "encouraging" Tyrod, no problem there, but see who starts week one, and unless it gets catastrophic, let it go as it does. For once, this doesn't look like a bad thing.
It's way too easy after all these years to try and jump ahead, and no point to it if it's working as it's supposed to, which it seems to be.
Re: McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
I'll deal with the rookie mistakes. He's better than Tyrod as a rookie. He can read a defense already and he can pass the receiver open. Has such a better head on his shoulders. They know Tyrod sucks. So play Peterman this year and see if he could be a starter in this league. They know they're going to suck anyway. If he doesn't end up being starting caliber by seasons end, then they know they have to draft Sam Darnold or someone with similar talent in the college ranks. They have the ammo to move to get Darnold but will the worst team except it a trade?
Re: McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
I strongly believe in ruining a QB that starts early. And especially if your OLine sucks.
I believe that Dak Prescott with the Houston Texans O Line of David Carr back in the days would have been ruined. Startung an inxperienced AB behind a bad OLine will ruin him. At least keep Peterman on the bench until after the bye. Especially if Tyrod helps us lose games.
Re: McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
Tyrod needs to continue to start if for no other reason than to get the O-line figured out so Peterman isn't scarred for life. I originally thought Tyrod should start until mathematically eliminated but that will technically take longer than it should.
Re: McDermott Suggests That Nate Peterman Could Be The Starting QB
Don't rush it. Let it play out. 'Giving it' to someone too early will create division and controversy. Letting them earn it fosters belief, confidence, and 'team'.
