This is a projection for use in Fantasy Football, but the data is interesting none the less.

5.7 Wins
Defense Ranked 30th
Bill +50% Win Probability in only two games, both v. Jets

Could be a looooooooooong season if Clay's projections are accurate.

I thought his sack projection for Lawson seemed low.

I think our D will be better than 30th. Nonetheless we might win less than 5.7

If we win the home opener we should end up with 7 wins.

Clay's projection is in line with what he's done here the last two years, in the middle on catches, most yards, and right on the TDs.

He thinks Jordan and Zay will combine for more catches than I do, and also shows the Bills to actually complete more passes as well.

Man, I really hope not

I think DB was referring to Mike Clay, not Charles.

2016 draft was a disaster for this team. I wasn't a fan of Lawson at all, just didn't see the athleticism. I hope he turns out to be a P.McPhee type, but I just don't see him dominating the edge. I'll take a McPhee on this team, but I think that's where he tops out. Didn't like Ragland either, Williams was the only pick that intrigued me and he's still around.

The season hinges on Tyrod Taylor's play, not the defense. The defense, if healthy, will be good enough (wherever it finishes statistically). Tyrod Taylor ONLY is the lynch pin for the Bills this season.

2-14 only beating the Jets would be the saddest **** ever. A Shady injury would be a catastrophic catalyst.

He only gave the Bills a 1 in 4 chance to beat the Bengals and Chargers. The Chargers are hot garbage and Cincy isn't the same Cincy from the past decade. I don't think this guy knows what he's talking about.

He did put his Draft Order Projections up and have the Bills picking fifth and the KC pick is twelfth.

Not so sure about that. The starters on the DL are by far the best unit on this team and some depth guys have emerged during camp but the back 7 is very shaky. That being said, 30th overall on D still seems harsh.

I think every one of those projections for the offense are too high with the exception of the run game.

Where we will draft a corner and a safety, which we trade away ~2 years later for a future 2nd round pick. It's a controlled loss using Buffalo football logic.

nah, we'll draft a WR and CB. Gotta spend those 1st round draft picks on outside the hashmark players, where they make the least possible impact. As opposed to linemen, linebackers and qbs, who make the biggest impact.

If the front 4 can get consistent pressure, the D will be middle of the pack. If they can't, it will be 30th.

I'm curious to see if a lot of teams come out and try and run the ball against us. Our DL will get some TFL's but if a RB gets to the second level they could be running for a while. I have very limited confidence in our Back 7.

Nah, I think teams are already salivating to throw against our linebackers and secondary. I suspect our run defense will be rather highly ranked mostly because we won't be able to stop anyone through the air.
