I now would have no issue with this. He posted on twitter with a hand raised emoji with a video of McDermott saying about the WR position, next man up

Hard Pass.

He's averaged nearly 500 yds the last 3 yrs, he's only 31, and has a passion for our city. I think he should be considered

Isn't he hurt still?

He would find a way to get open while TT is scrambling. Then again, that's if TT can find him in the middle of the field.

I would take him back. We were all happy to bring in 45 year old Boldin

WE don't need another slot receiver... We need outside guys.

His time has come & gone. Let's keep the young guys and forget about senior citizen WRs.

And that means to you he wants to come back?

I gave a big thumbs up when they legalized same sex marriage. I hope I wasn't misunderstood.

He can play inside or out.

I also think Zay might be better outside, dont care what he did in college.

No thanks. I kinda liked the unique route-running that Stevie brought to the table back in the day, but truth be known it was as much of a weakness for an offense as it was an asset...especially an offense predicated on timing.

He's basically an older Jordan Matthews. We already have a WR with the dropsies, why bring in another who also has injury issues?

Have no fear, you were heard loud and proud big guy!

People complain about Watkins injury history, he at least played a full season within the last three years. Johnson hasn't done that.

Stevie had a back work ethic and wouldn't fit with what they're trying to do.

One thing with Stevie is he wasn't a great route runner, his success came from improvising and Fitz would find him. Tyrod Taylor's strength is improvising and finding a receiver that has come open. Taylor is not the QB that will throw to a spot that the route was designed to get to. Johnson is a receiver that doesn't get to that spot, so it seems like a perfect match. The problem is, that's how sandlot football is played, not the way NFL coaches who spend countless hours designing plays want it to be played.

That's why Chan Gailey is a great offensive coach
