Streater Update?

Anybody heard anything about Rod Streater? He had a great camp and a good preseason before he got hurt but there has been almost no information about his injury or its severity that I've seen.

I'm curious to see if he is a guy they stash on IR with designation or PUP for a little while or if his injury is short-term.

The last I heard (last week) was when they asked McDermott if Streater was going to need surgery and he said they were weighing their options. I think the fact that they haven't put him on the IR yet, could be a good sign.

They might stash him on IR as well, teams do that little trick.

Can't use PUP because he was able to practice at the start of camp. He would have to go on IR. I guess he could be an IR guy that comes back

Why bother stashing him on IR? Just cut him and re-sign him later.
