All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Here's a team-by-team rundown of every player cut as NFL general managers trim their rosters to the mandatory 53-player limit by Saturday's 4 p.m. ET deadline.
CB Bradley Sylve
WR Dez Lewis
OL Greg Pyke
OT Cameron Jefferson
S Shamiel Gray - injury settlement
LB Jacob Lindsey
There was nobody named Shamiel Gray on the roster. You proved a point debated on WGR earlier this week when one of them said when you see the name Shamiel Gary, you're inclined to call him Gray instead.
Ravens cut former Bill Thad Lewis and Eagles cut former Bill Ron Brooks.
No real interesting names yet outside of Joe Haden but the Steelers already signed him.
Unless you count Brock Osweiler as interesting.
I do find Osweiler being cut as interesting.
What happened there? The Browns payed millions to take the other team's salary-dump in exchange for like a second round pick or something? Talk about a stupid move...
