One of the things he said when he came here was.."I'm here to win". I'm sure he got the song and dance from McBeane.

After the Watkins and Darby trades, he knew he was fed a line, adn thought, "this isn't what I signed on for"

He tried to bow out gracefully rather than saying "They're in tank mode". The mother Teresa excuse might have been much, but it is what it is.

I can definitely understand him wanting to get out of the situation ASAP. Especially when Beanie Boy used him as the poster boy of the "We're not tanking!" excuse.

If the Pats really want him that bad maybe we can release Boldin and have the Pats give us , Gillelsee, Hogan , Branch and Gilmore.

Boldin didn't look good in preseason, so I don't imagine we'd get much for his rights on the open market.
