I don't get the dearth of dbacks on the roster at the moment. For all of the talk of McD's defense favoring safeties and corners over a third, and sometimes second, LBer on the field they are barely carrying enough guys to put out there at the same time in those formations.

I don't understand why you would mess around here. Taylor won't be able to take the reps, why even think about starting him? Give Peterman all the 1st team reps, prepare him as much as possible.

They don't have to wait to release Yates. They could have waived him injured and he would revert to IR after clearing waivers until an injury settlement was worked out. If they wanted the roster spot it is available.
