The least talent NE ever had?

I haven't been paying attention much in the offseason but living in mass I have to deal with a lot of patriot arrogance, and all I heard on the radio and from fans was how deep they were this year at WR.

Cooks is not a #1 in my book.

And hogan is a great #3..

When Edelman went down I knew that would be an unfillable void. Their WR could poternioally be worse than ours!

And as for the defense. Who is playing the front 7? Guys I never even heard of. And it showed last night.

This could be the least talented we've seen NE in the Brady era.

since Brady's been there, outside of Gronk, there's never been any offensive talent .... they'll adjust - they'll win

    lets be grown ups

Edelman, Troy brown, Deion beach, Wes weaker, and randy moss.. that's the 4 that come to mind... saying he's never had talent at WR is just dumb.

And they might not "figure it out" and be as dominant as recent history. Yes they'll be better than average most likely, but the talent is not there this year .

Define "ever." They had some 2-14 seasons in the early 90's.

If you want to talk about just the Brady era, maybe, but one of the reasons they have been so successful is because they don't rely on elite talent. They make up for lacking talent with great coaching schemes, and when that doesn't work, they cheat.

their front seven and specifically D line looks the weakest in the brady/belichek era.

but im sure bill will scheme them up

and i hope gilmore keeps getting torched.

In 2006 the Patriots receivers had to be among the worst in the league & they still made it to the AFC Championship game. Their leading receiver was Reche Caldwell, who they released in 2007. Take a look at their season stats. The 2017 NE receivers with Amendola, Cooks, Hogan etc are tons better than 2006.

People keep talking about the pats O talent.

              The D gave up 42.

Yes I said "Brady era" and I agree in the early 2000s their defense was top in the league, then Brady carried the load, but now the front 7 is a complete dumpster fire.

Can you imagine how this board would be talking about the defense if it was the bills.

Based on last nights performance, KC will be in contention for top seed in AFC playoffs.... And now they own the tie breaker over the previous clear favorite to have home field advantage in the post season.... THAT is the most important takeaway from last nights game.

Was the FIRST thing I thought of. And how epically stupid BillsImpossible and Skooby looked for pimping their "failure" when they abruptly fired their GM.

Conversely, once September and October get played out KC could be sitting on 2-6, and New England 7-1.

Agreed! Some strange things happened in the KC game. They should have been up 17-0. That's why every game is so different in the NFL.
