The Front Four Pass Rush was inept until the Bills blitzed.

Shaq Lawson disappointed. 2 tackles and one pass deflection. No pressure on the QB. It appears he may be another highly overrated #1 pick.

Marcell was AWOL for the entire game. No pass rush and NO NUMBERS on the stat sheet - - - ugly!

Jerry Hughes was constantly doubled teamed. He gave great effort and at least put some pressure on old man McCowan!

When the coaching staff realized in the 4th quarter that McCowan was feeling too comfortable in the pocket they started to blitz! It worked. When rushed hard McCowan was bad!

Congratulations to the D coaching staff for making the adjustment.

That's not what I saw, the ball came out quickly and when it didn't we had pressure.

26/39 for 187 yards, that's quick short ineffective passes ended by sure tackling. Only 2 completions went for more than 20 yards.

Yeah, our d did it's job. Our secondary actually looked really solid today... got the ball carriers down without surrendering too many yards after the catch. Unfortunately it was against a garbage team that is probably one of only 2 or 3 other teams who are worse than we are. Big test next sunday... if we win in Carolina, I will be shocked.

You can't get much of a pass rush against a dink and dunk offense. The Jets didn't even try to push the ball down field.

Buscaglia pointed this out, and he's right. Teams will dink and dunk because PB, Humber, and Zo are not good coverage backers at all.

Front four was OK (Shaq has his moments, but he looks neither strong, nor athletic enough to be great... maybe he will late bloom like Jerry) Kyle looks good in this d.

McCown looked very Kelly Holcomb-ish........but I wouldn't mind him as the #2 QB. On a good team with talent he could fill in and win some games.

So basically when we play the Pats Gronk D. Lewis and White are gonna have a field day against us?

Well I expect a lot of nickel sub packages for that game.

Considering we were basically daring McCown to beat us down the field, the d-line did just fine. 38 rushing yards allowed to Powell and Forte when they gashed us (as many others did) last year is a good start. I know they stink but our inability to stop the run last year was maddening, very happy to see to see that improved yesterday.

When the DC recognizes this he takes out the worst coverage LB and puts in a dime back. Defense 101.

The 2014 great D line is a past. Hate to break it for you folks.

At that time, we had Mario on his last hurrah. Marcell wanted to get paid. Kyle and Hughes were both 3 years younger.

Right now, w have the new blood Lawson, which the best description would be Mario Williams junior. Marcell got paid and didn't care any more. Kyle and Hughes still trying, just a bit longer in tooth.

Most disappointing is Marcell Dareus. Everyone in NFL is expecting him being in his prime right now. But he simply isn't.

I look back to how NE handled the great Richard Seymour (who I saw in person the great game he played in Pittsburgh on NE's first run to superbowl). they had him for 8 years. Then Belichick traded him for a 2nd round pick to Oakland, probably a couple years too soon.

Marcell is entering 7th year with the Bills. I'm thinking McDermott and Beane are praying to God that Marcell will have a couple good years and net them a 2nd pick in a trade. But Richard Seymour is the ultimate pro, hard worker. Not sure Dareus can be mentioned in the same category as Seymour.

Go back and watch the All-22. You'll be glad it was McCown and not Brady or Rodgers back there. Way too many missed assignments and blown coverage that were hidden by the Jets ineptitude.

Dime too often leads you way too susceptible to draw plays and TE mismatches. It would be better if you could trust your LBs more. Humber could be ok I guess.
