I'm over the win! Next up Panthers!

    But wait........

    AFC East Team W L
    Buffalo Bills 1 0
    Miami Dolphins 0 0
    New England 0 1
    New York Jets 0 1

The Process goes up against his former team. He should know Newton and know Kuechly.

    Thoughts?

I didn't realize Newton had shoulder surgery and missed a lot of the offseason. I didn't pay too much attention to their game against the 9ers, but it sounds like Newton was kind of up and down and still a little rusty.

It should be a good matchup and interesting test for this team. I've been pretty down on this season after the Watkins trade, but another win this week would get me excited.

Looks like Newton has lost some arm strength due to his surgery (he'll get it back...) so we need to dare him to throw it deep. Besides McCaffrey could end up being a lil stud muffin so we need to keep 8 in the box to make them one-dimensional.

Whenever we get our first win I am usually just glad that we cannot go 0-16. So it's nice to not have to worry about that after the 1st game.

It's the Panther's home opener. This will be one of the toughest games of the year. The Panthers are very eager to bounce back from a sub-par 2016.

              Every game is tough.

I did watch Newton. His arm is half of his norm. Everything was short with little zip. I'd move the safties up.

                So Newton has become McCown?

Carolina beat San Fran 23 - 3, but Cam Newton did not play well at all.

"Noodle arm," comes to mind after watching him throw.

Complete career NFL stats for Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton on ESPN. Includes scoring, rushing, defensive and receiving stats.

                    14 of 25 for a 56% completion percentage, 171 yards, 2 TD's and 1 Int against the 49ers.

                    That's bad - against a terrible defense.

The 49ers are like the Jets of the NFC, but I think the Jets have the better defense.

Nobody in the league knows Newton better than Sean McDermott, which is a huge advantage for the Bills defense.

Newton only threw 2 passes all preseason.

Against the 49ers, Newton ran the ball 6 times for 3 yards.

Quiet you bastard, don't you know that every time we win and Cleveland, San Fran, and the Jets lose we seriously imperial a top five pick which means one less pick to waste on an OSU db

I found this little nugget of info from the espn power ranking interesting:

"Cam Newton failed to complete at least 60 percent of his passes for the eighth straight game, and his accuracy will matter more going forward."

It looks like Newton has been having accuracy issues for a while, even before his surgery.

But the Bills offense is a bad match up against the Panthers D. Kuechly is back and their front 7 is strong again. If the Bills can't run the ball, no one will predict them to win. Time to see what Taylor's true color next Sunday.
