The Patriots, who just got new turf at Gillette Stadium in May, are changing their playing surface (https://jet.com/search?term=microsoft+surface) once again.Work began Sunday and the turf had been removed by Monday afternoon. The new turf is expected to be ready in time for the Patriots' next home game, Sept. 24 against the Texans. It's the third surface the facility has had since March 2014.

A Patriots spokesperson told ESPN (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20670592/new-england-patriots-replacing-synthetic-turf-gillette-stadium) the turf did not meet the team's standards, even though it met NFL and MLS safety standards. The Pats share the stadium with the New England Revolution.

“[There were] a lot of those little black pebbles and everything, a little sand, but what can you do?” Pats running (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/13/0/19/DealFrame/DealFrame.cmp?bm=326&BEFID=96424&acode=339&code=339&aon=&crawler_id=533337&dealId=cEkE6tCFXbQ3ItABRopjZQ%3D%3D&searchID=&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tanganetwork.com%2Frdr.php%3Fp%3Dtanga%26a%3Decn%26link%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.tanga.com%2Fdeals%2Fc8c383494b64%2Fnike-running-hydration-belt-4-bottle%3Futm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dcpc&DealName=Nike%20Running%20Hydration%20Belt-4%20Bottle&MerchantID=533337&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=0&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=170911051323&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=20.99&SKU=c8c383494b64) back James White told reporters Monday. “It’ll be good to have some new turf out there, but hey, whatever’s out there, like Bill [Belichick] says, ‘You’ve got to play on it.’ ’’

Man they're trying every excuse in the book. First it was the refs, now it's the turf?

Well, at least they take action ... its that kinda attitude which is prolly why they've won over 200 games, 14 AFC East championships, 5 Super Bowls since the Bills last made the Playoffs

Clearly it was Russian turf.

The new New England scandal for 2017 Deflated Field Gate.

It's sort of a new take on their 1982 scandal with the inmate snowplow driver

Buffalo is full of bitter loser fans. Why don't you shut up and tell your owner how much he sucks?

Because nothing says "great owner" like getting lucky with a 6th round pick, HGH, and cheating.

Just shows how long the Cheatriots have been cheating.

Lucky? Only a Bills fan would take that p.o.v. They saw potential. He was still there. They took him. You sound bitter. Classic Bills fan view. And you left out the video cameras.

Yeah I've heard other Cheaters fans make the same inane comment. The truth is, it was total luck. You don't wait until the 6th round, or even the 4th round, for a guy you think will be good. And it's not like he came out of some no name program: he came from one of the premier programs at the time.

But the cheating and favoritism is what garners them no respect from around the league. Again, the truth. Sorry.

The bold part sounds ridiculous. Every pick they hope will develop into a good player.

While I think there is something to tapegate and ref love for them, I do think it is possible (difficult but not impossible to beat them). That said, considering we only play them twice a year I do not blame them for our futility. We have been plagued by the same problems for seventeen years and by and large nobody has done much to correct these. Our qb play is inconsistent, our defense cannot get off the field on third down, our players think Buffalo is an audition tape, and there is a culture here that making money and not winning is what it's all about. I know football is dangerous and brutal game on the body but I wonder how many of the injuries are truly injuries or just guys not wanting to play

In theory you are correct yes. But overall wrong. if the pats had any inkiling that tom Brady would be who he is, they would not have waited until the 6th round to draft him. Because at that point you're counting on teams filled with scouts and professionals to get it wrong 5 times. That's just not likely nor feasible in my opinion.
He would have bee gone early if they thought he was that good.
