I picked Carolina in my suicide pool. Anyone who watched opening day & thinks the Bills showed anything other than that Shady is a unique RB on a bad team who beat the worst team in the league is in for an eye opener this weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see the game because I have to go to a wedding. My only hope is something special happens & NFL Network replays it in the middle of the week.

I think this game is winnable if the defense plays lights out, the offense gives Hauschka plenty of opportunities to put up points, and they catch a couple of breaks. However, Carolina is still the better team, it's their home opener, and the Bill's players are still in the process of just getting used to each other let alone gelling.

I actually think both our teams are built very similarly. Of course Carolina has loads more talent but I think this will really come up to who wants it most.

D: Both have questionable secondaries, CAR has better LB's, and we have a better front 4.
O: CAR has a better QB (though he might still be injured/rusty), WRs are a wash, CAR has a better TE, RB's I think we have a slight edge, and the OL's are a wash.

This is the home opener for CAR though, so I think they take it 23-21, but I think this will be very close.

Jets offense is half the offense of the Panthers and they scored 12 on us. Jets defense is 2/3 of the panthers' and they allowed 21 points. So 24 - 14 Panthers.

You left out Home Field advantage in both games. Bills had it. Now the Panthers do.
