Assuming we get some equivalent contribution of EJ Gaines from someone else?

At the end of the day, I said to myself that maybe we will have a happier day late April 2018 because of this.

One of my buddy said yesterday the difference is Carolina had Benjamin in the game. Watkins was on a field 2000 miles west.

You do realize that timed routes don't matter when your QB doesn't stay in the pocket right ??

Somebody tweeted to Howard Simon that Jordan Matthews has better stats this season than Sammy Watkins has, which is weird.

The Bills won't win until they get a better QB. It's that simple.

Yeah ... Bills would've won yesterday with Sammy thus finishing the season 4-12 ... now Bills are on their true destiny for 3-13 season

I think so. The 2 catches for 30 yards he had yesterday for the Rams would have definitely pushed us over the top.

I would assume that Watkins would have to have been targeted. Tyrod Hates WRs.

A lot has been made on that 4th down play. Give Tyrod credit on that play though. He hung in there and looked at the safety. Jones ran a nice route to beat his man to the corner. But as we all saw, Jones' man actually fell and safety yet to commit to this side. Tyrod threw right then, in the direction directly in front of Jones leading to End Zone (I remember every one of my drinking buddies jumping out at that time). But Jones were still going to the corner and had to twist his body all the way around to leap for that ball ... the rest is history. I do want to add though - Had he caught the ball, he would not be a hero because I don't think he would get into the end zone diving.

I can't fault Watkins, every bone on his body is on a 4 year healing cycle

He leads the league in aspirin consumption, 15 bottles per week

Nope. He would've been on the sideline nursing a pulled toenail
